Carter vs. Rutledge
The Series

The Biggest game of the season for the Hornets and Pioneers is this Friday as Carter 6-3 and Rutledge 7-2 face each other with a Home Playoff game on the line for the Pioneers, and a Region 1-3A Championship on the line for the Hornets. The two schools aren't very far apart and the schools have a healthy competitive spirit in other sports, but Friday's game will only be the 4th and Final game in football for the Pioneers and Hornets. The Pioneers look to be fired up as this will be the final regular season football game ever for Rutledge as they change names and schools next year moving into the new Grainger High School. Optimist Field at Rutledge High School is the game location and kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 anyone wishing to attend should arrive early as seating is limited.
